Sorry for the lull in activity this past few weeks. I'm doing my last days at my current job and getting ready to transition to a new gig in a week.
After the last 2 months with this site, I've assessed some of the functionality I went out with, and am doing some cleanup. I launched with all the blades out and am now pulling them back in to only expose the essentials. The goal will be to simplify the navigation, and let the screenshots take prominence. There will be some reconfiguring of database searches and sort options as well, now that I've found what the typical flow will be for this site. I'm also going to remove the design/interface submission options for now, and may go another direction with regard to that.
Anyway, for now, I've stripped out the graphics and will get a slightly more low-fi design up in the next few weeks.

You've heard my silent cries! I'm pleased to see Konigi dressed a little bit more mature now and less fancy. Content over design is the right concept for a content driven site like Konigi. Looking foreward to see the new design.

Too bad! I was really hoping for more of the detailed UI analysis stuff you started out with. That seemed like it was going to be a really valuable section. The screenshots are ok, though why not just start a flickr group (or join an existing one) for something like that?

Andrew: That is definitely where my head has always been with regard to this site, but I spent the last month trying to get the CMS to do what I want, e.g. spending too much time figuring out how to get screenshots in RSS feeds, for instance. :)
Now I'm going to be able to focus on the more editorially curated content I like to write about in the interface section, and in the design reviews with the contact sheets of screenshots. I want to pay more attention to the interface section than to the design section. I still plan to bookmark the good designs I come across, however, so you'll see those as well. I just don't want to write about all of them--only the exceptional or unique ones will get featured. So hang in there and check back. I'll start posting the featured content again.
