This one is for the retro computing kids—a 5.25" floppy disk sketchbook that's sure to turn heads.
This is the latest sketchbook I've been using when I'm on the go. It's a wirebound, 5.25 inch square gridded notebook with about 140-150 pages (70-75 sheets). The graph paper pages are printed on 70 pound white vellum paper with a nice tooth and texture for either pencil or marker. The grid consists of lightly printed 1cm squares in warm gray.
The cover is made from a 5.25 inch floppy disk, and the back is a black, heavy board. There's a neat inside pocket made from the Tyvek floppy disk envelope. A disk label is included to write your contact info and award for return. A black write-protection sticker is also included so you can cover the notch when the book is full, thereby protecting it from future use. :) An elastic strap fastened with silver eyelets keeps it closed.
Each sketchbook is lovingly hand crafted and assembled in Park Slope, Brooklyn. They will be created in small limited quantities for the UX community, and will never be mass-marketed or mass-produced.
