This stencil set uses special handwritten fonts that ship with Mac OS X. Please view installation notes for instructions on installing these stencils and the necessary fonts.
Installation
- Log in, then go to your accounts page by clicking the "Account" link in the upper right side of the header.
- Beneath your user name you'll see a link for "Files." Click that and you'll find a link for your download.
- Unzip and move the file to your ~/Library/Application Support/OmniGraffle/Stencils directory. The ~ represents your user "home" folder.
Fonts
These stencils use the Apple Casual (also visible as "Casual") font that ships with Mac OS X for Ink hand writing recognition, but you can also use any hand drawn font you like to customize the set.
To install Apple Casual font, which is located at one of these locations:
/System/Library/Components/Ink.component/Contents/SharedSupport/InkServer.app/Contents/Resources/AppleCasual.dfont
- In the Finder, go to System: Library: Components: Ink.component: Contents: SharedSupport.
- Control-click on InkServer and select Show Package Contents; then go to Contents: Resources. The first item in the list will be AppleCasual.dfont.
- Open your user folder in a new Finder window, go to Library: Fonts, and copy the AppleCasual.dfont folder into your Fonts folder. The next time you start up applications, Apple Casual will be available.

- In the Finder, go to System: Library: Frameworks: Carbon.framework: Ink.framework: Resources.
- Open your user folder in a new Finder window, go to Library: Fonts, and copy the AppleCasual.dfont folder into your Fonts folder. The next time you start up applications, Apple Casual will be available.
